Eastridge is Hiring an Electrical Technician Near Danielson, CT

We are working with our client, a worldwide producer of engineered fasteners, to find an Electrical Technician for their team in Danielson, CT. The role operates from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with some flexibility. If you're looking for a challenging and fulfilling role, we invite you to apply today.

As an Electrical Technician, you will spend your days:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working with Design Engineers to assemble, connect, and troubleshoot control panels and systems
  • Work alongside the Operations Team to perform electrical preventive/corrective maintenance and troubleshoot proprietary equipment.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Support research and development projects
  • Support equipment upgrades
  • Provide recommendations to advance existing capabilities and for cost reductions
  • Perform as the backup to the Insertion Equipment Electrical Technician

Recommended Qualifications:

  • At least two years of electronics/electrical assembly & troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably combined with at least a Technical School degree.
  • Familiarity with facility power supplies and wiring standards.
  • Proven experience building, wiring panels, and troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to understand PLC’s Ladder Logic programs and make basic changes to assist in debugging equipment.
  • Any experience with transformers, 480V, or three phase motors would be considered a plus
